Abnormal House is an anomaly detection game where remembering an ordinary room is the first step toward noticing what has gone wrong. Furniture shifts, objects disappear, and familiar household items may change shape or catch fire. Your job is to explore the house and identify every disturbance.
Take a careful look around each room on your first visit. Notice where the furniture stands, which objects sit nearby, and how the lighting looks. Those details become your reference when something changes. A useful approach is to inspect rooms in the same order each time. Check the larger furnishings first, then work through smaller objects, so your search covers more than whatever immediately catches your eye.
Some disturbances announce themselves with flames or an obvious transformation. Others leave an empty space where an item used to be. Added objects and subtle changes in position deserve just as much attention. Abnormal House uses random anomaly placement, so remembering a discovery from an earlier run will not settle the next one. Familiar rooms still need a fresh inspection.
Move with WASD or Arrow keys and use your Mouse to look around. When you spot something that differs from the room’s original state, approach the affected object and press left mouse button to interact and confirm the anomaly. Getting close is part of the investigation. Scan the room from its entrance, then walk over to details that need a better look.
Press H when you need a hint. As you progress, you can unlock a knowledge base about the disturbances; B opens the Anomaly Database. Press C to pause your investigation.
The appeal lies in catching details you nearly walked past. Players who enjoy visual puzzles and methodical exploration have both obvious disturbances and quieter discrepancies to investigate.
Enter Abnormal House, learn its rooms, and uncover every anomaly hiding among the everyday objects.
