Topsy Turvy

Topsy Turvy is a spooky-cute arcade puzzle game about a chain of eyeballs, skulls and other strange orbs moving toward a drain. Your only defense is a small steampunk cannon next to the track. Aim at the crawling line and collect matching orbs to destroy them. A well planned shot can trigger a chain reaction and clear a large section, while a careless move can make the line harder to control. Keep matching until the track is empty, don't let the first orb reach the drain.

Creeping Orb Chain Stopper

The line snakes its way down to the end of the track. It may start slow, but the more orbs that get on the track, the less and less room there is. Watch the whole chain before you fire. Find groups that fit the orb you have in your cannon and shoot them to complete a set and clear space on the track.

Make Every Shot Count

Shooting at the nearest target is not always the best thing to do. A match further down the line can connect two separate groups, and create a bigger clear. If there's no immediate match, place the orb next to one of the same type. This can make a useful mix for a later shot without cluttering the track with random bits.

Push the line back by making combos

One group can be removed to bring matching sections together. They connect and another match can automatically form to continue the combo. This chain reaction is especially useful when the front of the line is near the drain. Don't just take out one little group, look for a shot that can take out several sections in a row.

Focus on the Most Dangerous Zone

Look at the head of the snake. A match near the back will improve your score, but it won’t help much if the front is already close to the exit. First, clear the urgent sections, then use the extra space to set up bigger combinations. Rapid fire is less important than accurate shots, the quicker the pace becomes.
