Pen Pineapple Five Nights at Freddy's is less of a traditional security-office horror adventure and more of a game of timing and accuracy. Launch a pen at moving apples, pineapples and FNAF themed targets without missing. In between rounds of fruit, Freddy, Bonnie, Foxy and other familiar faces pop up. Each successful throw counts toward your score and one bad shot can end the attempt and send you back to the start.
The target moves across the pen, which is poised at the bottom of the screen. Keep an eye on the pattern, wait until the fruit is in your sights, and shoot. Don't be hasty just because the first targets are moving slowly. In the later rounds the speed and direction changes making it harder to judge the right moment.
There are 3 game modes with different styles of movement.
Targets move along a simple path across the screen. This is the easiest place to learn the timing and get better accuracy.
Fruit moves in a circular motion instead of across the screen. You may have to aim a little ahead of where it is now.
Targets are moving a lot faster and there is little time to react. But the instant the fruit appears is outdone by a steady, well-timed click.
Score points by making accurate hits and unlock new pen designs from the shop. Some targets will need more than one hit, so check for shields or other changes before your next throw. Try to make consecutive shots near the center. You will score better and get to new unlocks faster if you make clean hits.
If you miss, the round stops right away. Learn the target movement speed, follow it for a bit then click. If the pattern changes, adjust the timing, don’t just throw another one the same.
Pick a mode, line up the pen and see how many apples, pineapples and animatronic targets you can hit without missing.
